November

November was fallen leaves and walks through the woods and a twentieth birthday celebration.

November was visitors and a little boy's third birthday and family memories, old and new.

November was Thanksgiving Day and ordinary days and busy days and days for soaking up family time.

November was "grand"...all eight of them!

November was counting our blessings, living one day at a time, preparing for good-byes, praying for guidance, trusting in His goodness.

  1. Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful!

I know you've stored up so many memories, I love seeing your photos.

We must try to get together this month. Wouldn't that be a treat?

    Love you all!

  2. Such wonderful collages that actually do capture the essence of the story. They are a lot of fun to see. I suppose that your Maine family has already returned. Praying for them to be able to relocate closer. The cousins must enjoy being all together! Not to mention your having all the grands under the same roof.

    Love your new header!

  11. You manage to take such interesting photos. I feel like I had a short visit to your house.

I like your statement about November being "grand" - all eight of them.

Seeing the birthday candles reminds me of the year when our daughter turned 25. I saved the candles. A month later I re-used the 2 and the 5 for another birthday. Her dad turned 52.

I see you've put your charming farm table to good use this holiday. The green will look handsome for Christmas, too.
