Usually I can't wait for fall but this year I just want the summer to go on and on. Go figure. I guess it's the idea that the cold and ice and snow aren't far behind.
I'm so looking forward to autumn more than ever this year, Cheryl. We've had a great respite this week, but the heat and humidity are returning today....♥
We've had such a lovely summer that I hate to see it go. But today feels fallish - rain in the night, clouds today and strong winds. A good day to have a canner full of tomatoes burbling away. (Doors slammed upstairs as I wrote - guess it's time to close a few windows!)
I love autumn, but down here in s.e. FL we don't see much of it at all. I look forward to cooler temps every year, but for us they won't happen until the end of Oct, early Nov, if we're lucky.
My favorite season of all and after another week of the uggie muggies coming this next week (poor kids going back to school), I may be ready for a sincere wish to have autumn arrive. Still feels as if summer just showed up. I like your graphic.
My toes were dragging a little yesterday when I knew I was about to turn the calendar page. Summer seems to have passed so quickly, but this morning I'm ready for one of my favourite seasons and all she has to offer us.
Wishing you a beautiful day and a wonderful September... Brenda xox
I can hardly wait, Cheryl, fall is my favorite season! Just read some of your previous post enjoyed them so much, especially the baptism of your loved one, what a glorious day that was! Happy belated Anniversary, we will be celebrated ours this weekend!

ReplyDeleteI'm so ready for fall-tired of the heat and humidity and no rain!
ReplyDeleteYou love fall. It seems to be such a welcomed time of year--I guess we all get tired of summer and it's heat.
ReplyDeleteWe've had over a week of weather that FELT like autumn! How I welcomed it. Even made some apple dumplings - which I associate with fall...
ReplyDeleteI can't wait! I love, love, love Autumn! Last week was a beautiful preview but this week will be Autumn's last (hopefully) hurrah!
