I will sing of my Redeemer
He who took the nails for me
I've been purchased, I've been pardoned
Bound to Him I'm truly free
He who took the nails for me
I've been purchased, I've been pardoned
Bound to Him I'm truly free
I will sing of my Redeemer
How He sought me while a slave
Loosed me from the curse of sin and
From the power of the grave
How He sought me while a slave
Loosed me from the curse of sin and
From the power of the grave
I will sing of my Redeemer
Lift my voice to praise my Lord
Ransomed by His blood and mercy
I am His forevermore
I will sing of my Redeemer
He who bore my cross, my curse
Came a servant, chose to suffer
Lifted up and cast from earth
He who bore my cross, my curse
Came a servant, chose to suffer
Lifted up and cast from earth
I will sing of my Redeemer
Lift my voice to praise my Lord
Ransomed by His blood and mercy
I am His forevermore
I will sing of my Redeemer
Tell about the grace I've known
Here on earth with those forgiven
And one day around His throne
Tell about the grace I've known
Here on earth with those forgiven
And one day around His throne
I will sing of my Redeemer
Lift my voice to praise my Lord
Ransomed by His blood and mercy
I am His forevermore
Beautiful words, beautiful people, beautiful table.
ReplyDeleteAll because of Him! Praise God for our redemption!
Well you did not forget to photograph your family! What a great one of Kristen's family...not easy to have everyone looking fabulous! And your mom is so beautifully dressed for the day...where's your dad? Also a lovely photo of your at home family. Your son and family must have been celebrating with the other side of the house. It was wonderful how you wove the words of the Easter hymn into the narrative...special...meaningful...truth...
ReplyDeleteWe had a "small" group on Sunday, didn't we?! Daddy had to work. At age 79, he still works full time! Ryan & Co. were out of town for a surprise birthday celebration honoring Sarah's mom.
DeleteOh, Cheryl! How beautiful - ALL of you AND your table AND your menu AND your lilacs. ♥
ReplyDeleteAll beautiful - family, flowers, table, and the song interwoven!
ReplyDeleteA lovely reminder of the meaning of the day intermixed with the blessing of family! Are those lilacs? Love your simple colorful table setting!
ReplyDeleteSo lovely, Cheryl. I could almost smell the lovely fragrance of lilacs as I sang the hymn you featured. Beautiful family photos of a very special day. ♥

Aww - this is all so lovely and the words of that hymn are amazing and your family pictures are wonderful. Love your menu!
ReplyDeleteLOVED everything about this post! The words to the hymn are such good ones. Your table was just beautiful! I love love love your lilacs! Your menu sounds perfect. And your family pictures are wonderful! Yep, loved everything about it!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful way to share your Resurrection Celebration! Loved all the beautiful details. And I will sing of my Redeemer, too.
ReplyDeleteOf course I love the song, Jesus our great Redeemer! And the photos. Got any leftovers? The menu sounds great! And you have lilacs. So pretty and fragrant. It will be a while yet before ours appear.
ReplyDeleteYour Easter photos are beautiful. Loved the lilacs in time for your Easter table centre piece. No chance of lilacs around here ... was snowing the past few days. A bit strange but not totally uncommon. I'm eager to watch our own Spring arriving in short order. Although it might not look like Spring around here, it sure sounds like it what with all the migrating birds arriving in flocks.
ReplyDeleteWishing you a beautiful rest of your day...
Brenda
