She loves the sun porch when the weather gets warm. In fact, the hotter, the better.

What a pretty pot of succulents on your wicker table, Cheryl. The fish piece looks right at home on the sun porch. Such a lovely spot to curl up and soak up the rays. Smart kitty! ReplyDeleteWe have been enjoying the porch whenever possible! My daughter-in-law Sarah and I spent a leisurely morning on the porch yesterday while Bekah was teaching the children their piano lessons. It was heavenly! Most nights, we eat our evening meal on the porch. All too soon it will be too hot to linger there . . . expcept for Pinky, that is. Never too hot for her!

DeleteA month away, Cheryl, summer is. Pace yourself! I think your decorating style is wonderful. It's not at all cluttered, yet it is not minimalist either. That's a cute little pot of succulents. Old Kitty's old bones love the heat. My son has two geriatric kitties who have a similar look.

DeleteI'm glad you love black cats. I read once that black animals are the least popular and that made me sad. Pinky chose us, but we're glad she did!

I just got done cleaning the pollen off our porch. I really have to wait until the pollen is finished so we don't get to use the porch in the cooler spring. But our ceiling fan helps keep it cooler, so the mornings its always lovely there as well as the evenings. And if we didn't have the air conditioning to go back into, we'd probably realize the porch is quite comfortable! :-) Your porch looks amazing and I like your new (and old) touches!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Dotsie! You are right though. We are (at least, I am) so spoiled by air conditioning. We did not have air conditioning in The Farmhouse until 1993 when we had it put in downstairs. It was not until 2001 that we had a unit put in upstairs as well. But this point in my life, I cannot imagine life without it!
