A Little Getaway

August is a busy month at our house
(and yes, I'm still planning a Gathering the Moments post for  August) so we usually defer our anniversary celebration until September. Earlier this week we had a little getaway in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.

Coffee shops, cafes, antique shopping, and more coffee. It's the way we celebrate.

We brought home this adorable pumpkin from Strasburg Antique Market.

and had the cutest latte ever from the Corner Coffee Shop

Thankful to our good God for our 46 years!

  1. How wonderful, dear Cheryl! Happy anniversary to you and Ron! Forty-six years together as man and wife is so special my friend. I love the photo of you two smiling. And the piggie on the latte is just the sweetest. And your pumpkin looks right at home in front of your beautiful crock with bittersweet. Lancaster County, Pennsylvania sounds like the perfect place to celebrate.

    1. Thank you, Martha Ellen! As I'm sure you can attest, those forty-six years have flown by! And it was good to have a little break in the action and spend time doing things that we both love.

The food was so delicious, it was the first time I had shoo fly pie! `smile~
Thank you for visiting my blog, and for your sweet comment, getting back to blogging and being on Instagram has been such a slow endeavor for me, but I am not giving up. ~wink~
