An Autumn Nature Walk

Well, some of us walked...

...and some of us ran...

...but we all found some autumn treasures...

...and enjoyed the wonder of God's creation on a perfectly lovely day.

After our walk/run,
we sketched in our nature journals...

...made sun catchers with our colorful leaves...

...and crafted these dear little yarn pumpkins to decorate our Thanksgiving tables.

*** Instructions for these darling pumpkins can be found here.
At make and takes, they are apples; we simply changed the color of the yarn to make ours pumpkins.

  1. Cheryl, these pictures are precious. I particularly love the one of the children running! And that sweet yarn pumpkin! That is one of the cutest things I have seen in a long time. I love the overwhelming sense of "family" and "togetherness" that always comes through in your postings. So glad you are savoring this wondrous time of year ... Autumn.
