As the name of my blog indicates, I spend a lot of time thinking about home. Of course, my Heavenly Home is the one that is eternal, so that’s where I need to lay up my treasures, and that’s the one I’m striving for. But in the meantime, I have been given this tiny piece of the here-and-now—this home on the edge of town, this family, this neighborhood—in which to serve Him. And, though this is in the earthly realm, I want the things that happen here to be investments in the Heavenly realm.

Grand #14

While we're still waiting for Grandbaby #13 to arrive,

I'm going to drop this right here . . .

(The bow, that is.)

Yes, Kati and Andrew are also having a girl
and her name is
ELEANOR GRACE !

    1. Thank you for sharing in our excitement . . . and thank you for the prayers! Love right back to all of you. We're praying for you as you are also waiting. I remember when I was waiting for Bekah to be born, some dear friends were losing their mother. My friend remarked about the stuff of life . . . the comings and goings . . . and how the comings are a lot more fun, but it's all a part of this life.

  9. Somehow my comment disappeared so I'll try again. Such a sweet way to announce the impending arrival of a baby girl! I pray for the safe arrival of both babies, one soon, and one in the fullness of time.
