As the name of my blog indicates, I spend a lot of time thinking about home. Of course, my Heavenly Home is the one that is eternal, so that’s where I need to lay up my treasures, and that’s the one I’m striving for. But in the meantime, I have been given this tiny piece of the here-and-now—this home on the edge of town, this family, this neighborhood—in which to serve Him. And, though this is in the earthly realm, I want the things that happen here to be investments in the Heavenly realm.

She looks pretty happy about it, doesn't she?!

One thing is certain: Judah is loved!! 

There is always room in your heart for another sweet baby . . . a new person, created by God, entrusted to your family. Ah, yes, the heart just expands.

We praise the Lord for a safe delivery and a healthy baby! 
And we pray that Judah will learn to love the Lord and serve Him too!





Although my laptop continues to limp along, I am planning to replace it soon, and my extended blogging break will end. I hope to be back next week with a "What I Did On My Summer Vacation" post.

I have missed you, blogging friends!
