Well, some of us walked...
...and some of us ran...
...but we all found some autumn treasures...
...and enjoyed the wonder of God's creation on a perfectly lovely day.

After our walk/run,
we sketched in our nature journals...
...made sun catchers with our colorful leaves...
...and crafted these dear little yarn pumpkins to decorate our Thanksgiving tables.

At make and takes, they are apples; we simply changed the color of the yarn to make ours pumpkins.
Cheryl, these pictures are precious. I particularly love the one of the children running! And that sweet yarn pumpkin! That is one of the cutest things I have seen in a long time. I love the overwhelming sense of "family" and "togetherness" that always comes through in your postings. So glad you are savoring this wondrous time of year ... Autumn.
