As the name of my blog indicates, I spend a lot of time thinking about home. Of course, my Heavenly Home is the one that is eternal, so that’s where I need to lay up my treasures, and that’s the one I’m striving for. But in the meantime, I have been given this tiny piece of the here-and-now—this home on the edge of town, this family, this neighborhood—in which to serve Him. And, though this is in the earthly realm, I want the things that happen here to be investments in the Heavenly realm.
Cheryl ... the words "heart" and "home" are such a perfect fit when I think of you. I enlarged your photo until it filled my entire screen, so I could see the details of all the lovely hearts. I particularly love that one of someone (you?) pouring tea, beside the plate of heart-shaped cookies! It would not do for me to live at your house, as I would have no control whatsoever over the consumption of such wondrous desserts. I hope you had a beautiful Valentine's Day!
ReplyDeleteLoved the hearts Cheryl and those yummy sweets. Hope all is well with you. Hope your Valentine's Day was filled with many blessings.
