We do love our coffee. And when traveling, coffee is part of the experience. On our trip to Maine last spring, we stopped for coffee all up and down the East Coast! North of Boston, we put "Starbucks" into the GPS search, and ended up with a scenic drive this way and that, around corners and over lovely bridges, through a quaint little town (while Ron may or may not have been increasingly frustrated with the unending search), and then (for the sake of familial harmony) we found a Dunkin' Donut and topped up our caffeine meters there.
It is always fun to find a little out-of-the-way place and experience some local culture with our caffeine. Such was the case on our little anniversary getaway last month. My cafe mocha at Blue Crab Coffee Co. was delish!
Linking up to Kati's Photo Friday this week...
Hmmmm...we love our coffee, too. In fact, it was so chilly this morning that we declared it an extra pot of coffee morning. Next time you come to Maine or anywhere that has it, do try some Tim Horton's coffee. Hmmmmmm...
ReplyDeleteOh, I do love that photo. So quintessentially Maryland? I think so anyway.
ReplyDeleteEmma would fit in well with your family!
ReplyDeleteI need to figure out a day to come your way! Kati needs her blue jars!
Have a delightful weekend!

Mmmmm... I want a cup right now!
ReplyDeleteThat's a great sign! You do take your coffee seriously it sounds like!
ReplyDeleteWe enjoy our coffee too, and am looking forward to all the fall flavors.
ReplyDeleteoh, I do love a good cuppa Joe!
ReplyDeleteI, too, search out local coffee joints while on vacation.
Visited our son in the big city last year and had such fun stopping at the coffee shops on (almost) every single corner while shopping downtown!
Our younger children are always on the lookout - "Mom! I see a coffee shop! You really need to stop!" It's a family joke now.
The cool weather coming soon makes my morning cup all the more enjoyable. Looking forward to it. Thanks for sharing your photo!
Gosh, is St. Michaels, MD, where you went on your anniversary jaunt?! I didn't recognize it. I used to sail in there when I lived in DC about 35 years ago! Cute little town.
