As the name of my blog indicates, I spend a lot of time thinking about home. Of course, my Heavenly Home is the one that is eternal, so that’s where I need to lay up my treasures, and that’s the one I’m striving for. But in the meantime, I have been given this tiny piece of the here-and-now—this nearly six-acre tract of land, this farmhouse, this domain—in which to serve Him. And, though this is in the earthly realm, I want the things that happen here to be investments in the Heavenly realm.

The Good Life

While sorting through (gazundles of) stuff in my bedroom, I came across a card with this message...

"Denying ungodliness and worldly lusts,
we should live soberly, righteously, and godly
in the present age."
Titus 2:12

  4. We can be lost slaves to sin or servants of the living God who is generous, gracious, and merciful to us. It is wonderful to reside in the shelter of his wings.

  6. Ahhh...the good news is that Christianity is not a self-improvement program. It is a yielding...daily...so He can live in and through us. Your graphic is so beautiful...must pin.
