If you don't have a green thumb, an herb garden is the garden for you! Herbs are so friendly and forgiving. And useful. I love stepping out of my back door with a pair of kitchen shears, and clipping some rosemary for roasted potatoes or some chives for scrambled eggs or some basil for a Caprese salad.
You gotta love plants that don't mind fending for themselves!

ReplyDeleteI used to have a lovely herb garden in the backyard. It had to go to make room for the vegetable garden 3 years ago. It was the only full sun spot out back. I just received permission to put an herb garden out front. It's terribly hot out there and I know my herbies will love it! I'm inspired by yours and will hopefully get to do it this year. Cory began scraping to repaint the house 2 days before he got another job (he already had 2). Now he has NO time... We're looking for a way to get that project finished! Then I can play!!
ReplyDeleteNo T.V. for me last night. After my disappearance from society my lovies started coming out of the woodwork. I didn't take phone calls or visits for almost 2 weeks. So, there was a 3 hour visit from my mom, an hour long visit with a friend (she brought flowers :). And then a 2 hour phone call with another friend... I ate my dinner at 8:00 when I finally hung up and then still had dishes... You get the picture.
Blessings to you, Debbie
So, first it said that my verification word was incorrect and put this up twice, then I tried to delete one of the comments and it won't do it. So there you go, not only did I write a book. You get 2 copies!!
