As the name of my blog indicates, I spend a lot of time thinking about home. Of course, my Heavenly Home is the one that is eternal, so that’s where I need to lay up my treasures, and that’s the one I’m striving for. But in the meantime, I have been given this tiny piece of the here-and-now—this home on the edge of town, this family, this neighborhood—in which to serve Him. And, though this is in the earthly realm, I want the things that happen here to be investments in the Heavenly realm.

Sunday Snapshots: The Checkup
...using the Fisher Price medical kit that was their mommy's.
I am surprised that Owen was putting the thermometer in Ben's mouth. Since we do temps in the armpit at home, that is usually what they do with the pretend thermometer, too! :-)
You see doc, I have this problem... low energy, need to sleep...
Let me know Cheryl, if he can fit me in! ;)
Blessings, Debbie
* The Amy Carmichael poem is perfect. I like to think that if I could just remember this, everything else would pale and I would just take up my cross... I'm doing a little better today.
I like the older toys better than the electronic ones. Adorable potos.
