When the evenings start to grow cooler, I gather warm throws for some cozy comfort.
Snuggies also do the trick.
On the bed, summer blankets are exchanged for thicker fleecy ones.
Actually, some of us (that would not be me!) wrap up in throws even on summer evenings, but autumn is the time to gather them from all corners.
Do it! Go gather some cozy throws! (Or do you already have them out?)
Me too Cheryl...I like keeping the house a little on the cool side just so I can wear my fuzzy socks and pull that quilt or warm throw up over me! I don't use them in the summer either...but Oscar, my doxie has to to have one to snuggle under always. I hope you have a good week!
ReplyDeleteWe already have our cozy ones out! I love adding them to the decor. They are warm, and add a great seasonal touch!

I have a quilt rack that I pull out and use just for this purpose during fall and winter. There are enough blankets/quilts on it for everyone to have one. We keep it in our downstairs TV area and just looking at it warms me up!
ReplyDeleteIt's been unseasonably warm here this autumn so I still have the summer bedding on the bed and no cozy throws around. Perhaps soon.
ReplyDeleteIt's so wonderful to wrap up in a throw and enjoy the chill in the air while sipping something warm.
It is usually closer to Thanksgiving when I'm ready to snuggle up with a blanket. I tend not to use throws since one end or the other of me sticks out from under. Plus someone usually likes me for to "share" with him :-)
ReplyDeleteI love weather that makes a cozy feel real good! My thin daughter and DIL can enjoy those year round but not this older gal...LOL!
ReplyDeleteHaha, yeah I sure do! We have afghans and polar fleece throws everywhere. In the winter, polar fleece is part of my winter 'uniform.' We keep our house pretty cool. My brother once remarked, 'Do you keep meat in here??! . Lol
ReplyDeleteWe have our throws out and I have had to use one a couple of times. Which is not normal for me! :-) I am knitting my hubby a nice cozy blanket, which has been keeping me warm too! :-)
ReplyDeleteMine are already out, too!
