As the name of my blog indicates, I spend a lot of time thinking about home. Of course, my Heavenly Home is the one that is eternal, so that’s where I need to lay up my treasures, and that’s the one I’m striving for. But in the meantime, I have been given this tiny piece of the here-and-now—this home on the edge of town, this family, this neighborhood—in which to serve Him. And, though this is in the earthly realm, I want the things that happen here to be investments in the Heavenly realm.

Sunday Snapshot: Judah
While I am working on a post about our most recent kitchen updates, I'll show you this sweet boy.
Yes! When I had my first child, I was given a little cross stitch that said "Every child is a new thought of God." I am not sure about the theology of that . . . but I do agree that each child is uniquely created and is a "heritage of the Lord"!
He is adorable! We have a grandson due in a month (or less). My youngest (son) is twelve years younger than my daughter so just as her kids oldest kids are teenagers, we are having little babies being born again. Piper (now two) is thrilled that she is going to be a big sister.
Thank you, Brenda! I am excited for your family as you await your own sweet little grandboy! (We have a large age span too, so I am hoping to have grandbabies for many more years.)
What a little angel, Cheryl! Babies are the hope of the future. I know you are in love with him! I'm sure your daughter has a lot willing baby sitters. ♥
He's growing quickly and looking alert. Each baby is such a wonder and unique human being!

Oh, I think so too! Thank you!
DeleteHe’s so sweet!
ReplyDeleteSo sweet! There are so many who want to hold him . . . we have to "fight" for him. Politely, of course. 😉

ReplyDeleteI sure am in love with him! And, yes, Kristin has lots of help. There is plenty of competition as to who gets to hold him next!
DeleteAwww so sweet!! Hold him all you can.
ReplyDeleteI am doing my best! They are babies for such a short time!
DeleteHe is darling and how wonderful for him to be welcomed into a large and loving family.
ReplyDeleteHe does not lack for love!
DeleteWhat a darling! AND so handsome! And you are such a wonderful grandmother, Cheryl.
ReplyDeleteYou are so kind, Jean! Being a grandmother is a great gig!
