~ Reflecting on last night's small group study. Good discussion. Sweet fellowship. Sharing hearts.
~ Thinking about this year's Thanksgiving table. Making plans . . .
~ Anticipating dessert and coffee/tea with our son and his family this evening.
~ Listening to Thanksgiving music playing on Spotify. (This is the link to my playlist if you'd like to listen too. If you don't have a Spotify account, this is my YouTube playlist from last year.)
~ And now . . . cleaning!
Gotta run!
I've not heard of Thanksgiving music so thank you for sharing your play list. I will surprise my husband. He will love it.
ReplyDeleteI hope you and your husband will enjoy it, Debby! It's a mixed bag . . . I even included a few songs for the children.
Deletetrying this again .. computer hiccup'd.
ReplyDeleteprettiness abounds in your home. :)
thank you for the youtube playlist, as
i'm not techy - therefore the spotify
option isn't available to me.
Thanks so much, Sherry! Hope you enjoy the songs of praise and Thanksgiving!
DeleteWill check out the You Tube Playlist; know nothing about Spotify.
ReplyDeleteThat's a sweet vignette. Lots of plans taking place all across the country, which
is fun to think about. 🦃
That is fun to think about, isn't it?! Thanksgiving is such a great holiday! Thanks for your kind words!
DeleteSounds like a good Saturday. Thanks for the playlist!
ReplyDeleteIt was a lovely Saturday! Enjoy the music!
DeleteI've not heard of Thanksgiving music. I'll start playing Christmas music after November 11 when we observe Remembrance Day. (We had Thanksgiving last month) Sounds like a quiet yet productive Saturday.
ReplyDeleteI would love to celebrate Thanksgiving in October and have more time between the holidays.
DeleteIt was just such a Saturday. My favorite kind!
A lovely Saturday, Cheryl. Music always sets the mood, in my opinion. Thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteOh, I think so too, Martha Ellen!
DeleteThank you for sharing your Spotify list, I'll add some of those songs. I remember the Getty song from last year, and enjoy listening to it. I'm not as tech savy as you are to have a link to my Spotify songs. Here are a few of my favorites from my list if you care to check them out: "That's why we praise Him" by Keith Lancaster, "There shall be showers of Blessings" by Sue Dodge, "Thanksgiving Theme" (it's actually in the Charlie Brown Christmas album!), "Thanksgiving Waltz" which includes "We Gather Together" by Harvest Home, "Ashokan Farewell" by Jay Ungar (just a lovely piece of orchestration). And I know you have a "For the Beauty of the Earth" piece, but I also like the arrangement by John Rutter. Thanks so much.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for sharing some of your favorites! I will definitely check those out! Some I have heard; some are new to me (at least in those arrangements).
DeleteSorry about the "Unknown" name for my comment, it's Melissa!!
DeleteHi, Melissa! :)
Delete(I'm still planning to update my Spotify list with some of your favorites! It's been a busy week . . . Whew!)
I also thank you for the playlists. You know I love your home in all seasons!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Deanna!
DeleteWhat a lovely November Saturday you spent.... I hope today is as enjoyable and filled with pleasant moments. I have never tried Spotify, but I think I might have to take the plunge.
ReplyDeleteI can hardly believe that more than a week has passed since this Saturday post. What a week (actually, more than a week) it has been!
DeleteI really love having a Spotify account! I have several playlists, plus a lot of "favorite" songs. There are SO many choices. I can listen all day, any day, and I also have an adapter in my car so that I can listen to music of my choice while I am driving.
Happy new week to you!
