As the name of my blog indicates, I spend a lot of time thinking about home. Of course, my Heavenly Home is the one that is eternal, so that’s where I need to lay up my treasures, and that’s the one I’m striving for. But in the meantime, I have been given this tiny piece of the here-and-now—this home on the edge of town, this family, this neighborhood—in which to serve Him. And, though this is in the earthly realm, I want the things that happen here to be investments in the Heavenly realm.

Productivity

In and out of our home last week...

Kati took a photography class and oodles of pictures.

Bekah discovered this kit and made oodles of cards and envelopes.

I stitched together oodles of quilt squares.

And Ron celebrated oodles of years...three times!

at home

at Kristin's

with his parents

Oodles of blessings!

  3. How could I forget the mosquitoes OR the watermelon drips (deluge!)?
And thanks, Sarah! It is a much smaller project than the quilt you made for Eve's bed (it is a "throw" size)...and I have renewed admiration for your ability to do SO much with 24 hours!
