As the name of my blog indicates, I spend a lot of time thinking about home. Of course, my Heavenly Home is the one that is eternal, so that’s where I need to lay up my treasures, and that’s the one I’m striving for. But in the meantime, I have been given this tiny piece of the here-and-now—this home on the edge of town, this family, this neighborhood—in which to serve Him. And, though this is in the earthly realm, I want the things that happen here to be investments in the Heavenly realm.

A Picture of Gran and Papa
Only when the artist is the sweetest little five-year-old blonde girlie...
...can one get away with drawing Gran at least twice as big as skinny Papa.
(Ron seems to think that this is extremely funny.)
Oh, dear! I'm shaking with laughter because a very particular conversation we had about "beached whale" comments. Dear, sweet, innocent grandbabies are excused for such things!
But on a good note... green looks good on you! HAHA
Oh I LOVE this, haha. And I agree, it's a princess or queen dress! Soo sweet! I can just hear the field day my hubby would have with this!, lol. I hope this art work is on the fridge! Enjoy your week-end!

I love her color coordination, that you are holding hands and both smiling. She's got it right!
ReplyDeleteHahahahahaha...but don't you worry...that's the dress you're wearing! Look how thin your arms are! Does Papa like his bilevel haircut?
ReplyDeleteLove children's drawings...they are such artists and get the major things right like the love between you.
So cute! xo
ReplyDeleteLOL! I wouldn't want to pose for her drawings!
