As the name of my blog indicates, I spend a lot of time thinking about home. Of course, my Heavenly Home is the one that is eternal, so that’s where I need to lay up my treasures, and that’s the one I’m striving for. But in the meantime, I have been given this tiny piece of the here-and-now—this home on the edge of town, this family, this neighborhood—in which to serve Him. And, though this is in the earthly realm, I want the things that happen here to be investments in the Heavenly realm.

"A Place of Blessing"
Among the many, many blessings that the Lord has given me is a daughter who can write this:
I had to come back here and tell you how blessed I was to read Kati's essay. It is wonderful to read of a young heart so unselfish and so ready to be used of the Lord.
You are blessed to have a special daughter. I read her post and found it so loving and tender.
ReplyDeleteIt is a tribute to you....you raised her well.
Balisha
She is one special, beautiful young woman, filled with grace.
ReplyDeleteI read this today and cried.
ReplyDeleteI cried for the beauty in Kati's soul, and the joy she brought to an elderly man. He was loved by her and loved her in return. So very precious.
They will have a reunion in heaven one day that will be amazing!
Deanna
She is one precious young woman...loving, kind, and good.
