Wonderful, merciful Savior
Precious Redeemer and Friend
Who would have thought that a Lamb
Could rescue the souls of men?
Counselor, Comforter, Keeper
Spirit we long to embrace
You offer hope when our hearts have
Hopelessly lost our way
You are the One that we praise
You are the One we adore
You give the healing and grace
Our hearts always hunger for
Singing Easter hymns |
Almighty, infinite Father
Faithfully loving Your own
Macie (3) singing "Alive, Alive" |
Lucy (our granddog) hanging with Gampy |
Here in our weakness You find us
Falling before Your throne
Judah's first Easter |
Judah and Gammy in gingham |
You are the One that we praise
You are the One we adore
You give the healing and grace
Our hearts always hunger for
Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?"
John 11:25-26
So beautiful, Cheryl. A lovely celebration of the Resurrection with your family. You are blessed my friend. I love how you documented it all with verse and photos.
ReplyDeleteBlessed indeed!
DeleteLove that song! Wonderful family photos. In the first, Teddy Bear taking his place is just adorable. You know I do have a thing for Teddy Bears. Everyone looks so beautiful and handsome all dressed for Easter.
ReplyDeleteI love that song too! So much meaning in the lyrics . . .
DeletePaul's bear is Deets. Not sure of the origin of the name, but Paul and he are inseparable!
I've always loved that song and your family photos shine with love and joy!!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a lot of us love that song! It's a good one!
DeleteWe are blessed!
One of my favorite songs ever and just perfect to accompany these beautiful family photos on Resurrection Sunday! And the lilacs...oh I love them and miss them! They don't grow well here in NC for some reason but we always had them at home in Ohio. Hugs!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you love that song, Debby! It's one of my favorites too! Thanks for your kind words! Hugs back!
DeleteLove the song and wish we had sung it at church this year. And like Debby, we had lilacs growing up up north and miss them here. Crepe Myrtles are the closest we come to them. Beautiful photos of your wonderful family celebrating the resurrection!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Dotsie!
DeleteIt is a wonderful song, isn't it?!
