As the name of my blog indicates, I spend a lot of time thinking about home. Of course, my Heavenly Home is the one that is eternal, so that’s where I need to lay up my treasures, and that’s the one I’m striving for. But in the meantime, I have been given this tiny piece of the here-and-now—this home on the edge of town, this family, this neighborhood—in which to serve Him. And, though this is in the earthly realm, I want the things that happen here to be investments in the Heavenly realm.

    1. It is wonderful to have a resident pianist . . . in fact, I must make her promise to come and back and play for me when she leaves the nest! (Or maybe Facetime . . . ) 😊

It's a beautiful song but when play by young hands, it's perfect.

  7. Beautiful. Wonderful talent. And yes, I do believe that Mary did know after an angel from God informed her. :)

    1. Thank you, Ellen! And Mary responded so beautifully to the angel of the Lord, "Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word." I wonder if she totally understood what it all meant?
