Because it was a ladders-in-the-dining-room and wet-paint kind of a Sunday...
it was a TV-watching...
coffee-sipping...
laundry-folding...
computer and cat-napping...
and list-making kind of a Sunday.
It was what we needed after a week of work vacation work.
But next week, we'll be ready for a regular kind of Sunday...full of talking and shared meals and game playing and kids laughing and adults laughing too and story swapping and baby chatter and cartoons on instant Netflix and...
Oh yes, we'll be ready.
My kind of day Cheryl, especially after a week of long hours and hard work. This is what I was doing yesterday and enjoyed every moment.
ReplyDeleteWe hit the floor running today with more outside painting.I was so blessed this afternoon as my mom surprised u with dinner, that's the reason i am able to be on my computer now. ~smile~
I am so looking forward to seeing your newly painted cabinets, maybe i will get the courage to paint mine as i feel it would lighten my kitchen.
Thanks for sharing.
Hugs,
Sue
I see you are watching Downton Abbey, Cheryl. Have you gotten very far in it? I so love that series. Kati looks very settled and cozy in that spot on the sofa. I love it that you had a more-relaxed-than-usual kind of Sunday. Next Sunday will hold the possibility of another celebration in honor of finished cupboards!
ReplyDeleteJust the right kind of day...and just what you needed. I have had that kind of day today...just what I needed after the last few crazy weeks.

ReplyDeleteSounds like a wonderful weekend! I finished watching the latest episode of Downton- my Aunt's friend who lives in England says they are busy filming the next series. I can't wait!
ReplyDeleteTim and I stayed up a few late nights to watch season 2 of Downton Abbey while it was still available online for free. I'm kind of hoping they end with season 3 because we really don't have time to keep up with it every winter and it's so addictive :)
