Continuing the transition into spring...
One of my favorite spring decorations is this vintage wire egg basket, found in the garage loft of the house we lived in as newlyweds.
I put away the tea tray, and replaced it with the rack of white dishes (three different patterns) that we will use for buffets for all of the spring and summer holidays and birthday celebrations. (There are many such occasions!)
We put out these Scripture cards, with verses about His death, burial, and resurrection.
Words of Lfe on the front and back doors...

These sweet little salt and pepper shakers, a hostess gift from my mom, are on the kitchen table.
A few years ago, I did a google search for vintage Easter postcards and printed some out on beige cardstock. I display these on a vintage picture/postcard holder.

Oh these are all wonderful ideas! The display of vintage Easter cards is wonderful as are the scripture messages. It represents the true meaning of the season!
ReplyDeleteEaster decorating... what a novel thought. I'll have to try it! (grin)
ReplyDeleteIt of course all looks just perfect Cheryl. That's what I'm going to call you from now on... my friend Perfect Cheryl...
Blessings, Debbie
I have a plate stack thingie too. That would be a good idea to leave out - people can help themselves. I love the white plates!
ReplyDeleteHappy Spring!
I think I might copy your plate idea! Your whole post is lovely - the postcards you copied are especially lovely as are the statements on your front and back doors...
ReplyDeleteI wish you a blessed Easter (Resurrection Day)!
What a silly girl you are, Debbie! No, no, no...I am absolutely not. perfect. Far from it in fact. (But I am flattered that you like my spring decorations. ~wink~)
ReplyDeleteEverything looks beautiful! I love that you are all set for buffet-style dinners. My family as those often too, it's such a fun time of year to get together and celebrate. Happy Easter!
