As the name of my blog indicates, I spend a lot of time thinking about home. Of course, my Heavenly Home is the one that is eternal, so that’s where I need to lay up my treasures, and that’s the one I’m striving for. But in the meantime, I have been given this tiny piece of the here-and-now—this home on the edge of town, this family, this neighborhood—in which to serve Him. And, though this is in the earthly realm, I want the things that happen here to be investments in the Heavenly realm.

Testing 1 2 3

I am trying as hard as I can to publish a "completed kitchen" post, but Blogger is not cooperating with me.  At. All.  Does it not understand that this is important stuff, people? 

Apparently not, as it will not allow me to add a picture or edit anything that I have already written.  Arrgghh.

We will see if it will post this start-from-scratch (pretend) post.   

And we will see if it will add a picture to this start-from-scratch post...

    Does Blogger really not understand how much we have been looking forward to seeing this??

    Loved looking through your back posts... you made me a bit teary (and inspired me) writing about the scant 7 years left of your home school career. I'm down to 4 myself and yes, it'll be here before I'm ready.

    Days are certainly busy but it's more than that. My mind seems too full to know what to put into words. Does that make sense? I'm looking for clarity and still doin' what needs doin'!

    I'm back to see those counters! Bad, bad Blogger... :(

    I forgot to mention that I was unable to blog for almost a week. I thought my blog was gone forever and I would have to start all over. Part of being gone for so long was my fault, part of it was bad Blogger's fault. But, just as mysteriously as I lost it, I tried again the morning of redemption and, voila. There I was! I'm looking forward to your, voila. :)
