As the name of my blog indicates, I spend a lot of time thinking about home. Of course, my Heavenly Home is the one that is eternal, so that’s where I need to lay up my treasures, and that’s the one I’m striving for. But in the meantime, I have been given this tiny piece of the here-and-now—this home on the edge of town, this family, this neighborhood—in which to serve Him. And, though this is in the earthly realm, I want the things that happen here to be investments in the Heavenly realm.

Sunday Snapshots: Only Eleven

This Sunday, there were only eleven of us here again.

We missed the larger group that we were last week.  Today we talked about our time spent together, and told stories, and talked about all of the cousins, and we looked through the oodles and oodles of pictures that we took over those five days.  Good times.  Good memories.

And then the eleven of us continued to make memories...

Whether near or far apart, we are bound together in love.  As earthly family...as a part of His family.  We are blessed.

  2. The children obviously are very taken with the new ornaments. How cool! And I've never seen Mary and Joseph looking quite so tasty. =D

  3. Sweetness!

You've inspired me to buy Kamryn a new ornament from us this year.
