As the name of my blog indicates, I spend a lot of time thinking about home. Of course, my Heavenly Home is the one that is eternal, so that’s where I need to lay up my treasures, and that’s the one I’m striving for. But in the meantime, I have been given this tiny piece of the here-and-now—this home on the edge of town, this family, this neighborhood—in which to serve Him. And, though this is in the earthly realm, I want the things that happen here to be investments in the Heavenly realm.

Note Card Party: Fruit

My Fruit On Tuesday recipe series has me noticing all things fruity, so that's the direction I went as I gathered photos for Vee's Note Card Party this month.

And God said,
"See, I have given you every herb that yields seed
 which is on the face of all the earth,
and every tree whose fruit yields seed;
to you it shall be for food."
Genesis 1:29

Then God saw everything that He made,
and indeed it was very good.
Genesis 1:31a

  5. These are so good and mouth wateringly so that even the onion that close to the watermelon works. Wait. Why is the onion and the hot pepper so close to the watermelon?
