If you read my most recent post you might be wondering . .
Who are the happy parents of Blessing # 12 ?
It is Kati and Andrew who are being blessed with the privilege of parenthood!
Sweet new adventures await!
I am so grateful. I have lived long enough to learn that parenthood is not a guarantee. It is a gift directly from the Lord. No, I do not pretend to know why some are chosen to be parents and some are not. I only know that the gift of parenthood is an amazing privilege and a sobering responsibility given by a sovereign Lord.
We are rejoicing . . . and we are also praying for this new little person (arriving in early May) and for his/her wonderful parents!
I am so happy for Kati and Andrew. A blessing indeed.
ReplyDeleteThank you, sweet Kathy, for rejoicing with us!
DeleteYay!! Congratulations to Kati and Andrew. I sometimes get overwhelmed thinking of how wonderful my children, children-in-law, and grandchildren are and that they walk with Christ. Of course, there is still the need for those continuing prayers. It isn't Heaven, yet.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Brenda! It is an immeasurable blessing to know that one's children/grandchildren are walking with the Lord! And absolutely, there is always the need for prayer on their behalf!
DeleteWOW!!!!! congrats to all!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Carol! We are all so excited!
DeleteVery exciting news, and I like your take on it. Parenthood is a gift, and happy they are off to a good start. My guess is you'll be finding your way down south now and then! :-)
ReplyDeleteThank you, Dotsie! It's going to be hard to be so far away (far for this reluctant traveler anyway!), but we'll certainly have a very good reason to make our way south!
DeleteOH! I am so happy for Kati and Andrew, and for your whole family, What a joy for me to see your family continue to grow.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Sue
Thank you so much, Sue! We are thrilled!
DeleteBabies (children, grandchildren) are a BLESSING!
ReplyDeleteIt's a mistake to take them for granted. But rejoice when they do enter this world.
Yes, congratulations!
Such a blessing! Thanks for the congrats!
DeleteAwwww...children are a blessing and, while I am sure that it is heartbreaking not to be able to have children, it does not negate the fact that children are a wonderful part of God’s plan. Warm congratulations to Kati and Andrew.
ReplyDeleteIndeed, children are a wonderful blessing! (Psalm 127:3) We are thrilled that Kati and Andrew will know this joy! Thank you for your warm congrats!

ReplyDeleteThank you, Rosella!
DeleteHow exciting for everyone! She'll be a great Mom! You'll have to invest in some of those books that talk about "Long Distance Grandma"!
ReplyDeleteAwww . . . I think Kati will be a great mom too!
DeleteI've been a long distance grandma before (for 8 years while my son lived/worked far away), but it doesn't make it any easier. Maybe I need to look for some of those books to brush up on my skills.
I knew it, I knew it! How wonderful and exciting! ♥
ReplyDeleteYou guessed?! Yay! Thanks for sharing our excitement, Debby!
