Bless the Lord, O my soul;
And all that is within me, bless His holy name!
Bless the Lord, O my soul,
And forget not all His benefits:
Who forgives all your iniquities,
Who heals all your diseases,
Who redeems your life from destruction,
Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies,
Who satisfies your mouth with good things,
So that your youth is renewed like the eagle's.
Psalm 103:1-5
Pastor spoke from this Psalm in Sunday School this morning. Psalm 103 was my dear old pop's favorite Psalm. Happy Thanksgiving week to you and yours!
ReplyDeleteI like knowing that about your Pop! Such good words to ponder and remember! Our God is so generous!
DeleteA treasure...worth committing to memory for times of trouble. Still praying...
ReplyDeleteOh yes . . . that's a great idea! I don't memorize as easily as I once did, but it is worth the effort to hide such Words in our hearts.

DeleteThis Psalm is a favorite of mine, Cheryl. I especially enjoy it in song. Thank you for giving it to me today. ♥
ReplyDeleteI know a song that includes part of the Psalm. I wonder if we're thinking of the same one. Regardless, it is beautiful and rich!
DeleteA top favourite Psalm for me. It's the one I pray the most often.
ReplyDeleteIt blesses me to know that!
DeleteThat was one of the first psalms I memorized. So good, and so much to be thankful for.
