Perhaps because it's a gray and chilly winter's day.
Perhaps because we are having soup tonight.
Perhaps because I love making soup.
Whatever the reason,
I settled on yummy, comforting soup to be my theme for the

Ohhhh...they all look delicious. I'm going to check out the Farmhouse Chowder right away. I do have a favorite...a chicken taco soup that I sort of toss together and it's a little different every time.
ReplyDeleteMmmm. Soup. One of my very favourite foods. This is a great idea - note cards with recipes attached.
ReplyDeleteI'd have a hard time choosing just one soup that's my favourite. There are so many wonderful ones out there, including all of these you've chosen. YUM.
Ta da! It is working now...
ReplyDeleteUmmm... excuse me -- waitress? I'd like to order a bowl of Baked Potato Soup please...
ReplyDeleteHello.....?
Just kidding. These look DELICIOUS. And yes, the potato is my favorite. Thanks for sharing.
Great idea for notecards, and including the recipes. Soup is a favorite at our house and not sure I have one I prefer above all of them. I think I would try the farmhouse one first of your four!
ReplyDeleteEverything looks delicious on your notecards. I guess the favourite soup I make is a spicy bean one. The baked potato from your notecard is one I'd like to try.
ReplyDeleteOh, how delicious these photo note cards are! I am loving the soup theme... just visited Lynn and mentioned how yummy the soups looked. Yours are equally as tempting :)
ReplyDeleteOh yea, I love soup! Headed back to click on Farm House Chowder:@)
ReplyDeleteThese all look so good! We love potato soup best! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteYour soup note cards all look delicious. Especially on a cold night like we are having.
ReplyDeleteCheryl, these look so velvety good. I think I am making the baked potato one for St.Patrick's Day (yes, this little Italian girl celebrates it: cb&c, soda bread from scratch and potato soup). xo
ReplyDeleteDrooling!!
ReplyDeleteOh, these all look so delicious! I love soup and it's hard to say I have a favorite. I guess it'd be a toss up between Clam Chowder and Loaded Potato Soup. This winter I've made a lot of chili as hubby like it best. I'll be back to check out some recipes!
ReplyDeleteI loved the soup we had at your house! Still need to copy that recipe!
ReplyDeleteLove to you and the girls today!

Great idea for note cards! Yes, we make a lot of soups. (Actually, Mr. Jim makes the soups and I clean up the messes, LOL.) My favorites are a beef/barley and chicken noodle!
ReplyDeleteHi Cheryl. Wow. these are really beautifully done food photos. I like each of them and the soups look so delicious! Great idea!! I love home made chicken noodle soup the best. Have a great day! Pamela
ReplyDeleteOh these are perfect note cards for this cold February day. I'm going to try your recipe for Farmhouse Chowder. It really looks good.
ReplyDeleteYummy! I love all these soups and I want to have them all again soon!
ReplyDeleteNice candid photos! The soups look yummy and I like your pewter dish. Yes, I make soup all winter. My favorite soups to prepare are Lentil or Minestrone with lots of fresh veggies. Have a great weekend,
ReplyDeleteS
Hi Cheryl,
ReplyDeleteThese photos are all great for note cards! I am truly a soup lover; sometimes I could eat it everyday. I like to make a cream of potato soup in the winter; everyone at our house really loves it. Your seafood chowder and your baked potato soup look especially tasty to me. :)
Thank you for visiting my blog and have a great day!
Denise
One of our favorite kinds of parties to host is a Soup Sampler. We make several different kinds of soups then provide clear plastic cups (the disposable kind) so everyone can sample whatever kind of soup they want. Three of the little cups easily fit on a dinner plate -- and all I have to do is set the tables with napkins, soup spoons, glasses, and baskets of bread, crackers, and bread sticks. Super easy -- and guests always think it's a great idea! (It's an easy do-ahead party, too!)
ReplyDeleteOops... I mean to also say that your "delicious" notecards would make great recipe cards, too!
