As the name of my blog indicates, I spend a lot of time thinking about home. Of course, my Heavenly Home is the one that is eternal, so that’s where I need to lay up my treasures, and that’s the one I’m striving for. But in the meantime, I have been given this tiny piece of the here-and-now—this home on the edge of town, this family, this neighborhood—in which to serve Him. And, though this is in the earthly realm, I want the things that happen here to be investments in the Heavenly realm.

The Row Continues . . .

Do you remember these posts?

Twelve Blessings!!
(October 2019)

And then . . .

(November 2020)

Well now . . .

THIS!
The row continues!

Kati and Andrew are expecting another little blessing in late June/early July! Can you believe that Caleb is a big brother?! He will be 14 months old when the new baby comes. Their household will be blessed . . . and busy. But there will be so much joy, and grace for every day!

(Two new grands in a single year? Exciting!)

Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD,
The fruit of the womb is a reward.
Psalm 127:3

  9. My two kids were born twelve years apart so for us, the two younger grandchildren are like enjoying them all over again. My oldest grandchild turns 19 today (how is that even possible?)and my son's two kids are age two and four. Congratulations on a houseful of grandchildren, such a blessing! (Well, after COVID, of course.)

    1. There are definitely some perks with having children across the years! Our own children are spread over 20.5 years. Our oldest grandchild is 18, and since our youngest child (Bekah who turns 20 this spring) is not even married yet, we could have grandbabies for many years to come!

As you know, each one is unique and loved and special . . . whether you have one or many!

Happy birthday to your oldest grand! (Crazy how fast they grow up, isn't it?!)

    1. Thank you, Carol, for being excited for our family!

I'm glad you enjoyed the gingerbread! I pulled a mini loaf out of my freezer just last week. I had a couple left over from Christmas. It was just right with a cup of hot coffee.

(Glad you let me know who you are!)
