As the name of my blog indicates, I spend a lot of time thinking about home. Of course, my Heavenly Home is the one that is eternal, so that’s where I need to lay up my treasures, and that’s the one I’m striving for. But in the meantime, I have been given this tiny piece of the here-and-now—this home on the edge of town, this family, this neighborhood—in which to serve Him. And, though this is in the earthly realm, I want the things that happen here to be investments in the Heavenly realm.

Gathering the Moments | November 2024



Ahhh . . . November! 

There is so much to love about you!

It is still autumn. Cozy settles in. I play my Thanksgiving playlist all month long. My heart is moved with gratitude and I reminded of my many blessings! 


Here are some of the blessings I saw when gathering my moments . . .


~ the sweet blessing of friendship ~

~ the joy of supporting our dear ones who love performing in local theater ~
 

~ seasonal foods served on seasonal dishes ~

~ our little buddy ~ 

~ annual mother/daughter Christmas shopping trip ~

~ bits of autumn around the house ~




~ Bekah performing in the college chorale ~

~ the blessing of thankful hearts ~
