As the name of my blog indicates, I spend a lot of time thinking about home. Of course, my Heavenly Home is the one that is eternal, so that’s where I need to lay up my treasures, and that’s the one I’m striving for. But in the meantime, I have been given this tiny piece of the here-and-now—this home on the edge of town, this family, this neighborhood—in which to serve Him. And, though this is in the earthly realm, I want the things that happen here to be investments in the Heavenly realm.

  1. I love your gathering the moments month posts! I also appreciate that your home expresses the style and period you enjoy. It all fits so well and is so thoughtful. That's quite an accomplishment for their 20th anniversary! Now I'm popping over to April. :)

    1. I do not do so well keeping up with my blog these days, but I like to record these moments. Thanks for taking the time to catch up with me! And thank you for your kind words!

About the anniversary bike trip . . . indeed, it was a big goal and they met the challenge! I am so proud of them. (Especially since our anniversary celebrations are typically "let's go out to dinner.")

  2. Love the way you did this with all the pictures. It's like reading a picture book.
    Precious shots of Joanna.

    1. Thanks so much, Great-Granny! Joanna is such a sweet little thing! (I know that sounds like grandmother-speak 😉, but it's true!)
