As the name of my blog indicates, I spend a lot of time thinking about home. Of course, my Heavenly Home is the one that is eternal, so that’s where I need to lay up my treasures, and that’s the one I’m striving for. But in the meantime, I have been given this tiny piece of the here-and-now—this home on the edge of town, this family, this neighborhood—in which to serve Him. And, though this is in the earthly realm, I want the things that happen here to be investments in the Heavenly realm.

Sunday Snapshot: Judah

While I am working on a post about our most recent kitchen updates, I'll show you this sweet boy.

I am melting!

    1. Yes! When I had my first child, I was given a little cross stitch that said "Every child is a new thought of God." I am not sure about the theology of that . . . but I do agree that each child is uniquely created and is a "heritage of the Lord"!

    1. So sweet! There are so many who want to hold him . . . we have to "fight" for him. Politely, of course. 😉

  4. He is adorable! We have a grandson due in a month (or less). My youngest (son) is twelve years younger than my daughter so just as her kids oldest kids are teenagers, we are having little babies being born again. Piper (now two) is thrilled that she is going to be a big sister.
