Transfer scones to a wire rack.
(I transfer parchment and all to the cooling rack immediately after removing them from the oven to stop the bottoms from further browning.)
To make the glaze, stir vanilla into confectioner's sugar along with enough half-and-half to make a drizzle.
With a spoon, drizzle the glaze back and forth across cooled scones.

Ha Ha! So glad you're back to your "normal" Cheryl. Lovely touches of love throughout the house. I found a lovely red/gold Valentine empty candy box at the thrift store years ago, and still love to put it out for decor.
ReplyDeleteSo sweet of you to notice my more "normal" post, Melissa! Even though life has changed, it is evening out a bit. I still find joy in homemaking!
DeleteOops, sorry, I was commenting on "normal" as your tech comments name not being "Anonymous," I was trying to be funny! :) All is good!
DeleteOf course! It is my brain that is kerflooey! And I am relieved to be "Cheryl" again. :)
DeleteSo lovely!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Barbara!

ReplyDeleteThank you, Lorrie! I made the scones for a small Bible study that I am hosting weekly, but there were enough left for the three of us too!
